About

I am an Icelandic artist who lives and works in London. I studied to be a draughtsman in Iceland and later photography at the interactive design institute (University of Hertfordshire). My background in composing computer music and software development can be seen in my art as it is in one way or another digitally produced. My process is to hand draw digitally an image and then reconstruct or/and manipulate it before the final result is printed out on photographic paper.

All my art is done in small series and each image is only printed once. I often use the same illustration in other series in different ways in various pieces, for me the images represent a caption of a memory or a thought that can be viewed in multiple ways. I leave my art open to interpretation for the viewer by giving my work none descriptive names.
I do not focus too much on the medium that I use. The whole process is more about the creativity and end result rather than the journey that takes to get there. One of the goals of my art is to create something that does not already exist in the world, by creating the world I am bringing something new into the world.
I have publised work under these artis names: Frikkx ,Frikkx UFO repairs, Trixie, Lo-Fi & Nano.
